Axis Wale bahut bade ______ hai.

Agar 20 lakh salary daaloge toh only Mastercard Airtel Axis CC milega

Aur agar 5 lakh salary daaloge toyh Airtel Axis CC Mastercard, Visa and RuPay. All 3 networks pe apply krne ko milega.

Axis aaj bhi Mastercard k sath agreement sign kar k rakha hoga.

Which is not much of advantage as 90% of the businesses have switched OFF Rupay cards on UPI. I usually swipe cards if card Machine is available, but all my sabziwala, milk shops, grocery shops and all nearby shops have stopped accepting Rupay cards on UPI. Plus we have other cards for UPI.

Other than UPI any advantage?
The Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card comes in both RuPay and Mastercard variants, each with its benefits. Here's a comparison to help you decide which one suits you better:

1. Network & Acceptance

  • RuPay Variant: Works on UPI, allowing seamless payments via UPI apps. However, international acceptance is limited.
  • Mastercard Variant: Widely accepted both domestically and internationally but does not support UPI payments.

2. Rewards & Benefits (Same for Both)

  • 25% cashback on Airtel bill payments, recharges & Airtel Thanks app transactions.
  • 10% cashback on utility bill payments, broadband, and DTH recharges.
  • 1% cashback on all other spends.

3. Contactless & UPI Support

  • RuPay Variant: Can be linked to UPI apps (like PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) for tap-and-pay.
  • Mastercard Variant: No UPI linking, but supports contactless payments.

4. International Usage

  • RuPay Variant: Limited acceptance outside India, depending on bank partnerships.
  • Mastercard Variant: Widely accepted globally, making it better for international transactions.

5. Which One Should You Choose?

  • Pick RuPay if you want UPI functionality and mostly spend in India.
  • Pick Mastercard if you travel internationally or need better global acceptance.

There are many better cards available for international use, including zero forex fee ones. Using this Mastercard internationally doesn’t make much sense.

RuPay support Tap & Pay direct through physical card.

I get your point. I just compared the Airtel Axis card variants.

I don’t prefer using MC International.
