Axis Bank ACE CC Renewal Fee Charged – Any Way to Reverse It?

My Axis Bank ACE Credit Card had its renewal month in February, and I had planned to close it before the fee was charged. However, I forgot to close the card, and now Axis Bank has levied the renewal fee.

I haven’t used the card at all in February. Is there any way to close the card now and get the renewal fee reversed? Has anyone faced a similar situation before?

Would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks!

All this drama for just Rs 500?
I created the post simply to find out if there was a way to do it or not.

Since someone mentioned that it could be done via a call, I tried, but they refused to even take the request. So, I considered sending an email to the PNO, and that would have been the end of it since I understand that there is no rule requiring them to refund the fee.

I was prepared to pay the fee and close the card.

But for some reason, some people think I’m planning to file a criminal case against Axis Bank or dont know what.

@Sahil_07

Why raising to RBI(No one was even talking about RBI there), Why raising to PNO, asking me to pay the fees, started comparing credit cards with Netflix Service and what not🤣🤣

Simple Email to PNO -My credit card has been closed, and the fees have been reversed.
That was the reason for writing to the PNO in the first place—because customer care refused to process my request.
That's why you shouldn't speak with half-baked knowledge. If you don't know, it's better to ignore the post.

Why do we have this community if we cannot ask for solutions here? This could also help others who have been charged for a premium card.

I haven't noticed or seen a single member here who has either agreed with you neither acted as a entitled person. Everyone tried to help including me with 2 posts.

What a waste of everyone's time on this useless thread.
