Hey, I have got the offer to apply for Ace Credit Card in GPay. I am student right now. Have HDFC Credit Card with 25k limit. Cibil score 730. Will my application be approved if I apply? Don't want a cibil enquiry to hit if there are not chances of me getting the card.

I just have Hdfc Card. Got it as pre approved. On GPay yransaction around 200-500 almost every alternate day for daily home expenses.

i would say wait and improve your cibil.
Axis generally rejects if your cibil is below 750.

I don't want to discourage you from applying but do keep in mind, in some cases they might send someone to collect proof documents along with payslips. At that time when you tell them you don't have any income, there are chances it might get rejected. It all depends on luck.

Yeah that's the problem. I know that is why I am hesitating. Has any student who as applied as salaried/self employed at the age of 19 had to go through physical verification, where they asked for income documents? If there was an option to apply as an student I would have gone straight ahead, as option was available in HDFC. So they didn't ask for income figure.

I don't want to discourage you from applying but do keep in mind, in some cases they might send someone to collect proof documents along with payslips. At that time when you tell them you don't have any income, there are chances it might get rejected. It all depends on luck.
