I wonder why this kind of stuff is happening with only 🪓 cards ( ie people abusing their cards and the bank is giving it back to customers ) , why not with other banks cards?

Because Axis cards are lucrative. Especially M4B returns are way too good beyond 1.5L. No other bank gives such returns
So they are lucrative only after spends cross beyond 1.5L per month right?

Then why can’t they design a system where they only target people who spend beyond 1.5L spends pm and there are numerous examples of people who were targeted unnecessarily who spend well below 1.5L pm.

And also are M4B customers only getting targeted?
If M4B is only giving them headaches then they have to somehow limit the damage and contain it rather than spreading the whole negative thing across the portfolio..

🙂 for some reason, I want same that @drsel getting from axis (feeling, treatment, justification etc.) but its always another route for me and paths never crossing..
There is nothing wrong with you.
They are sh*t in nature and people take it and adjust themsleves and to their sh*t and feel nothing happened and everything is okay for the obvious reasons…
And for those who can’t take their sh*t will stay away from them …
Because of sheer volume of customer base in this country, banks like this can survive

I think M4B and Atlas customer are usually targeted. Atlas primarily so because it gives very good returns on direct airline / hotel spends. So may be for Atlas, they are targeting people who are doing more than 5-6 transactions per month on these categories, doubting them as travel agents

M4B also I guess they target repeated very high spend customers.. I have personally gone beyond 1.5L per month 3-4 times this year, no issues as such. But if someone is doing 10-15L worth of transaction per month for like 7-8 months in a row, then it will come on any bank's radar doubting it as business transaction. Even Amex has done FR reviews for very high spenders on Gold charge / MRCC users

Agree. Also we should not be crossing spends more than credit limit on monthly/stmt basis

Wanted to confirm if i will earn Edge Miles on education payment using Axis Atlas?
Is there a limit on how much payment i can make in a month?

🪓 The Legendary Year of 2023-24: A Tale of Firsts and Wonders

Here’s how 🪓 truly left its mark:
  • 🏆 Provided unbeatable rewards (for a while).
  • 🔄 Offered excellent transfer options, which we learned.
  • 🤔 Became the first bank to educate users about loopholes (which they never utilized in other areas of life).
  • 💔 First bank to remove all benefits at once—because why not?
  • 🏦 Acquired a major bank (flex much?).
  • 🃏 Developed the same features across multiple cards with only minor tweaks.
  • 💵 Changed annual fee criteria without adding any extra benefits—groundbreaking!
  • 🧾 First bank to ask for invoices to validate credit card transactions (because trust is overrated).
  • 🤡 Took it up a notch by asking for invoices to credit cashback.
  • 🏴‍☠️ First credit bank where users openly looted via loopholes (at least they had fun doing it).
  • 📱 Mandated SMS charges—because revenue streams come in all forms.
  • ⏪ Sent out notices reversing transactions from the past two years—yes, TWO YEARS.
  • 🧮 Taught users advanced mathematics to calculate reward points. Thanks for the lesson!
  • 🏢 Turned monthly salary credits into postable flexes.
  • 😤 Became the first bank to consistently frustrate users month after month (just check the headlines).
  • 🎩 Made users enroll in high-end programs to get back benefits that were once handed out like peanuts.
  • 💸 Still managed to offer the best cashback and transfer partner credit cards—bittersweet.
  • 📉 Dropped four devaluation notices in a single year (imagine paying annual fees upfront—ouch).
It’s a rollercoaster ride, folks, with more loops than we can count! 🎢

🪓 really did wonderful things in 2023-24:

- Provided unbeatable rewards.
- Excellent transfer options.
- First bank educated users to explore loop holes (which they never used in other places they work or utilize)
- First bank removed all benefits at once.
- Acquired major bank.
- First bank developed same features multiple cards with only minor changes.
- First bank changed annual fee criteria without providing any benefits.
- First bank asked invoices for credit card transactions.
- First bank asked invoices to credit cashback.
- First credit bank people looted heavily with loop holes (atleast with publicity).
- First bank asked users to pay mandatory sms charges.
- First bank reversed transactions done in past 2 years (atleast as message).
- First bank educated users with complex maths algorithms to calculate reward points.
- First bank where people post as monthly salary credit.
- First bank where people hate past 12 months, month after month (or alteast in headline someway).
- First bank that made users to open high end program to get same credit that they offered like peanuts yet still trying to profit from it.
- And have both best cashback and transfer partners credit cards.
- A bank that dropped devaluation notices 4 times in a year (imagine person paid for whole year). //YES, also competing.
Well summed up about 🪓 Axis.
