Axis Bank Burgundy Salary account

Hi, I currently have a Citibank salary account.
I am expecting the Axis takeover of Citi to happen soon.

What are this community's view on Axis Burgundy Salary account ? I thinking of opting that if possible.

I also know that the regular Burgundy account that can be opened with a Rs 5Lakh cheque, has a debit card that gives Edge rewards on cc bill payments.
Would the debit card offered in the Burgundy Salary account also earn edge rewards on cc bill payments ?
Any differences in regular Burgundy vs Burgundy Salary account ?

No idea on that. For Burgundy salary account, they will check past 6 months credit and then only upgrade. I don't think new account can be burgundy salary account directly.

Salary above 3L per month qualifies Burgundy salary account.

No other changes except name, rest all features same, no difference.

Hi..on Eligibility , as per website it's 3 lacs credit in the account, so Net. But axis has partnerships with some organizations where this threshold is 2 lacs.
Check with the axis bank team and then apply.

I checked with bank, they mentioned it's net salary credit in account. It should be around 3lakhs.

burgundy DC is giving 2 ER immediately and I started using to pay CC bills using that.

I want my account to be upgraded to burgundy. Bt RM is not bring helpful. Salary criteria is there

Same. meeting all criteria, but they are saying that my company is not registered.
Since yours was an old post, wondering if you get auto-update after 6-7 months of salary credit.

Got a message saying that my axis bank salary account will be converted into burgundy salary account, and I earn just over 2 lpm. Not sure if that's going to happen but fingers crossed 😛

Update: They did convert to burgundy but I was not eligible for magnus burgundy.
