Axis bank credit card hierarchy

I’m priority costumer with no axis bank credit card yet.
I hold HDFC Moneyback plus with limit of 50k
Looking for good options with axis

Enjoy the 0 balance facility as long as you can along with free debit card.

Yeah, no issue in keeping 0 balance account, but want to get benefit of keeping funds there at least. I think hdfc would have given me LTF Infinia if I kept funds there. Or BOB would have given Eterna LTF. Axis is not giving anything for keeping funds.

Only benefit of axis is 0.5% higher interest rate than others.

Day 1
I went to the burgundy RM in my branch and told him to upgrade my account. He asked me to put in the minimum required funds and I did.
Day 2
I signed the form
Day 3
I was upgraded to burgundy.
Day 4
Requested for Burgundy Debit card
Day5
Accepted Pre approved offer for Magnus on the app
Day 8
Received both the Cards.

I think complaining to PNO worked. 2 days back got mail from branch manager that burgandy rm will contact tomorrow. Didn't get any call yesterday, but a service request was raised as 'Customer induced migration" and was successfully processed.

In the app, I still see priority account only. But some things in statement seem to have changed. Like instead of Amazon purchase, it is showing debit card online spends. Also, in debit card upgrade page, it is giving option to upgrade to burgandy debit card. So looks like it is partially done.

How many debit cards u hold? I had 2 rewards card somehow with prime account. Both were not being charged. Later when I upgraded to priority, one card was converted to priority and one stayed rewards card. And I got charged for rewards card in next year. Then I upgraded rewards card also to priority card, as RM told only priority card is free for priority customers. It hasn't been another year yet to confirm, if both priority cards are free now.

So, now can I upgrade to both priority cards to burgandy cards without paying annual fee? Also, is it possible to get one visa and one MasterCard? In the Upgrade page, it just shows burgandy debit card without any Master/visa variant.

Are you maintaining required TRV? If yes, then ask ur RM first. He may ask to come branch and fill upgrade form. One guy mentioned here going directly to burgandy rm for upgrade and was processed in 2 days. If that doesn't work, then complain to PNO.

Now need to get second card to visa variant. Any suggestions how to ensure that? RM says only one debit card allowed, so asking him is useless. He won't understand that i already have 2 cards😅.

Lol they disabled both my priority cards today😅. Now can't have 2 cards😭. And burgundy is issued on MasterCard. Not sure if that covers 080 lounge.

Yes, i want LTF Ace and possibly convert my privilege to LTF as well (or migrate it to LTF select). For that burgandy seems the only option.

And as an extra benefit, I will get burgandy debit card with slightly higher reward rate and benefits and probably get an RM, which actually respond properly 😅.

Tried to convince me to take select card. But then told we can give this too, as it is basic card.

P.S Burgundy RM also don't seem to respond promptly. Had messaged last week itself and no response. Then I called today and got it confirmed.

HDFC Preferred RM is much better. Always responds within an hour during day time.

Can I push my Burgundy RM to convert my existing ACE to LTF ?

Yeah, u can ask them. Although, I felt my RM is useless only. If he denies, u can ask pno, that is more helpful.

Already have privilege, so select doesn't provide me additional value and axis allows 3 cards only, so don't want to take it now.

Later if privilege is devalued or I am unable to meet annual spends criterion, I will upgrade it to select. For select, even normal customer care will take request, as it is officially provided.

Already have 2 Flipkart axis cards also. 3rd (will upgrade one of Flipkart cards)/4th one should be axis ace only.
