Axis Bank Customer ID Suspended

Hello! I started facing an error while logging into Internet Banking today. It says "Login disabled since your customer ID is suspended." I contacted customer care who said there were multiple customer IDs registered under my name, which cannot be right because that savings account is the only relationship I have with Axis. They're telling me to go to the branch and get a 'cluster ID' after merging all the accounts, which is obviously an absolutely stupid thing to do when I know for a fact that none of the other accounts could possibly be mine. I've spoken to the BM, too, and he only keeps asking me if I have any loans and stuff) (which I do not) without any other resolution. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have also been logged out of the mobile app. When I try to connect to an agent on the website, I am unable to do that as well

What does it say when you use debit card option?
 
I remember there was a link from Axis bank where you would enter your mobile number and it will show all linked customer IDs. I will send the link if I find that.

Scenario 1:
You have registered mobile number - X
Your family member's Aadhar registered mobile is also X
and your family has an existing relationship (account/card) with Axis or has opened new one?

Scenario 2:
Your Aadhar registered mobile is Y
Your family member's Axis relationship has registered mobile number - Y

If yes, then better to visit branch and escalate this issue. Axis has a shitty IT infra, and many a times, the RMN doesn't change properly. For instance, i changed my number from A to B after online account opening....but still get some/selected alerts on A....

I had similar experience 2 years ago.
Had 3 creditcards applied from different sources (axis website, cashkaro etc) and all 3 cards had different cust id.
Then I went to bank and opened a bank account, that came with new cust id.
And then my app logged me out, I could login using my number on website and only 1 cc was showing up, nothing else.
Went to bank, they merged it alltogether and gave me 1 cust id (which was the original bank saving's a/c one) and then on I could use that to login everywhere and all cards and savings a/c was showing up.
Just go to bank, give them these details and they can get it done in a day or two.
🪓 being senseless 🪓, this is the easiest way to do it. calling them and email them and all, is waste of your time.

Nope, none of these scenarios are possible.

I had similar experience 2 years ago.

Again, the savings account is the only relationship I have with Axis bank. No credit cards, no prepaid cards, no forex cards and no loans.

Still, since it is 🪓, i would recommend you do a visit to the back to get it sorted once and for all.
 
No that's the thing. I never asked them to consolidate any accounts or create a cluster ID for anything. I don't know who authorised it and which clown approved it, and neither does the BM, and now I'm stuck without the ability to make payments until these idiots clear this mess up smh

Go ahead and close this account. And for the sake of all that's holy get any other account and make your life easier. To give you persoective, I have total 20+ active accounts from almost all (at least imp ones) banks and I never touched Axis at all. The only thing worthwhile is their Credit Cards that's it.

Why would I consent to merge two accounts when I don’t know who the other account belongs to, or who raised the merge request or what their intentions were? I’m not entertaining their nonsense incompetence by going to the branch and giving them unnecessary importance. I called them, they better do it. Otherwise I’ll take my necessary steps. I’ve anyway decided to close my account with axis after this.
