Axis Bank issues wrong Credit Card; (Applied Indian Oil, Received Vistara)

I have applied for Indian oil credit card via credilio, but for my surprise i have been issued Vistara signature card. I asked customer care they refused to replace the card, instead they raised the priority ticket for same.
I want to know if I don't receive that card will I have to pay joining fees?
And what are my options. I have screenshots from credilio about Indian oil card
Any other tips if I want to keep the Vistara card and convert it to ltf

It seems to me you still haven't received the card or have you received it, sometimes axis sends wrong SMS about which card is coming

Same thing happened to me i applied airtel axis they issue me myzone, axis cc mis-sold me a cc
SO keep your proofs with you like the scree shots etc, i had a call recording with me
If wrong card comes to you and you dont want it etc, raise a complaint to pno@axis , provide all the proofs you have they take will take 3 days to reply so provide all the proof. they will call you to resolve the issue , tell them your grievance and ask for LTF etc.

I mean axis bank has a mind of its own while issuing cc lol.

PNO EMAIL:- pno@axisbank.com

No as per RBI Master Direction for the credit card dated April 21, 2022
Under Sl.No. 6a
vi. Card-issuers shall seek One Time Password (OTP) based consent from the cardholder for activating a credit card if the same has not been activated by the customer for more than 30 days from the date of issuance. If no consent is received for activating the card, card issuers shall close the credit card account without any cost to the customer within seven working days from the date of seeking confirmation from the customer. In case of a renewed or replaced card, the closure of an inactivated card shall be subject to payment of all dues by the cardholder.
vii. No card-issuer shall report any credit information relating to a new credit card account to Credit Information Companies prior to activation of the card. Any credit information relating to such inactivated credit cards already reported to Credit Information Companies shall be withdrawn immediately; under no circumstances it shall take more than 30 days from the effective date of these directions.

So if you are not happy with wrong sales before activating the card raise a complaint if they change no issue or else card has to be closed
