Axis Bank Primus Credit Card Launched | Full Details & Review | Most Exclusive Credit Card Of Axis Bank

Annual fees and renewal fees mentioned in MITC are 1.8 lakhs. This is contradictory to what's mentioned in this post, can anyone clarify?

Also, does anyone has more understanding on companion ticket? Is there a limit to it or can this benefit be used any number of times?

Companion ticket seems like the only benefit that makes it worth looking at, otherwise magnus burgundy+infinia combo does a better job even at much lower fees.
As it is with everything Axis, even for the ultra super duper premium pro max card their T&Cs are a mess of muddle and confusion. When you are catering to UHNI there's only thing to remember - No Bullshit. Which is absolutely not what this card is. The basic benefits should've been
  • Free companion ticket no matter what (probably limited to one return ticket per quarter or something).
  • Top membership tier of major hotel chains - Hilton Honors Diamond, Radisson Blu Premium, MB Titanium Elite etc.
  • Top loyalty tier membership for two/three airlines of the customers' choosing
  • Unlimited everything related to the airport (which it seems to do have).
Instead they've just again messed everything up by being vague and sensationalist.

Axis does something in the timeline

Here is your analysis madam Anupama, now you must give max points to my reputation--

Primus Joining fee 590,000 gets 25k x 5 = 125000 points
So Rs.465,000 loss on payment of joining fee 590,000

Primus Renewal fee 354,000 gets 15k x 5 = 75000 points
So Rs.279,000 loss on payment of renewal fee 354,000

They will not improve the joining bonus, because they want this card to be very profitable for Axis.
Even the renewal fee of 354,000 gives only 75000 return to make it more profitable for Axis.

No doubt Magnus Burgundy card is much better than Primus, both in terms of joining/renewal fee and returns--

MB joining/renewal fee 35,400
Return 12.62% on 10 lacs spend per month (7 excluded categories)
Vs
Primus joining/renewal fee 590,000/354,000
Return 9.16% on 30,00,001 spend per quarter (Zero excluded categories).
Spending more than this slightly reduces the return, spending less than this drastically reduces the return

I think the card is meant to be free for UHNW individuals. The 5lk price point is just a deterrent for individuals who gonna abuse the card and marketing tactic of Axis.

What about unlimited meet & greet and airport transfers? Those are great benefits as well.

This makes Amex Platinum Charge Card look like a better proposal.
Its not even close. The real benefits are zero forex charge, unlimited meet & greet and airport transfers. Even the free companion ticket could be amazing but need to know details on capping. Also this shouldn't be compared with centurion as that requires tonnes of expenses to become eligible.
