Axis Credit Card bill payment failed since yesterday in Mobikwik whereas ICICI CC worked well. Any reason?

Might be because RBI guidelines of BBPS restrictions as axis is yet to add in the BBPS biller list, ICICI has been added

It's showing under maintenance. Although Axis also in BBPS list.

When you cannot pay or want to pay for a card which is as a BBPS biller from third party apps then use that Bank's own website to pay any outstanding bill.
Also, Axis has already announced its maintenance for Citi-Axis merger so check any other website where Axis payment can work.

Axis is still not on BBPS.

just did a payment and working fine now

Now it's working, I have paid my axis cc bill yesterday through mobikwik using UPI.

Since Axis bank is not added to BBPS yet, is there a way to pay the credit card bill using debit card? I have Indusind Select VISA Signature debit card.

I tried from Paytm, but it is not allowing as Axis is not added to BBPS yet.
If payment through debit card is not possible, can I pay through CRED using UPI? Or only netbanking is the option?

There is no extra charges for visa and rupay debit cards.
