TF Prestige
Application Process:
1. On 6th January, I opened FreeCharge clicked that banner, entered number & DOB & pressed back.
2. After few minutes an Executive called me regarding this, it was triggered by me.
3. During 15 minutes call, she guided me to fill my application correctly (e.g. for house number enter 'House no01', etc).
4. At, 4:48 got option of Video KYC, p.s. when I clicked on KYC button in app then only link came in SMS too.
5. KYC was also completed in 5 minutes (2 minute KYC promise is true 🙌).
6. At, 6:30 pm I got confirmation call (agent) for application.
7. Tracking on Axis website is almost 12-24 hr late, they were unable to fetch details.
8. At 00:00 got SMS for application with reference number.
9. Next day, got IVR call at 3:40 pm for address & application confirmation.
10. Booyah! At 8:50 pm same day, got approved 😻.
11. On 8th Jan, it was shipped & 11th Jan delivered.
12. It is my first credit card 😅, BTW that metallic digit feels amazing 💫 in hand.

Charges:
1. Joining charges free & ₹350 + GST which you'll get waived on 50k spends. Rent & wallets spends are excluded for annual waiver.
2. 1% + GST charges if you do any utility payments on FreeCharge except prepaid mobile recharge.

Benefits:
1. 5% unlimited cashback on FreeCharge payments (including recharge, electricity bill etc)
2. 2% unlimited cashback on commute (i.e. Uber, Ola etc but I got only 1% cashback on Uber-Paytm add money)
3. 1% unlimited cashback on other transactions online/offline including Govt transactions (except rent, fuel, wallet etc but I get 1% cashback on wallet reloads on FreeCharge app).

Review: 50k spend for waiver is not much for me in a year (Mini-LTF 😛). It didn't even ask income proofs or salary slip. Although I was confident over call. I would say, good entry level cashback card from Axis Bank which anyone can get. In my opinion, anyone who wants to start their CIBIL/card journey shouldn't apply pay later loans & apply this card because of no income proofs & easy approval.

Cashbacks I've got till date on categories:
1. Recharge - 5%
2. Ebill - 5%
3. Education - 1%
4. Govt & Tax - 1%
5. Payment via FC wallet on gateways - 1 or 5% randomly (sometimes I get 5%, sometimes 1%).
6. FC Wallet add money - 1%
7. Other wallets add money - 0%
8. EMI cancellation post conversation - 1% (or as per category applicable on merchant).

Updated on 12/08/23. Axis have devaluated their most cards in last few months except this. Still provides 1% on Govt & Education Payments. This card is still strong.

Thank You for reading the long post 😁🙌. Ask me if you have any query.

As usual, 15k.
Welcome to club 😄

Cashback for bill payment is 3.8% effectively after charges (unlike Amazon, Freecharge app attracts almost 1.2% fees). However insurance payments are eligible for cashback, making this card a hidden gem. Also you may get cashback in apps that accept Freecharge as payment option.

For now, FreeCharge haven't charged me a single ₹ charge on bill payment but it may be applicable if I use much. BTW, if I do LIC Payments, it'll give 5% cashback for sure na? 🧐

They charge fee if amount is more than 1000 for bill payments. This is applicable to all credit cards

Anyone using Freecharge plus axis credit card? It says 5% cashback on utility bills (similar to axis ace) but have heard freecharge charges commission on bill payments..can anyone using this card share their experience ?

Are payment at schools (education payments) are still eligible for 1% cashback?? Or is devalued now?
No cashback for Education payments
