Donno why they can't simply automate it basis txn settlement. I think literally every other bank does it accordingly atleast for 1x / base points.. it's only Axis which does these randomised batch based updations.

Look at it the other way around. They have the perfect marketing tool. The whole day, every day, you're thinking of Axis and wondering, have my points come 🙂. And when they do, you get madly excited: So 24x7 brand immersion interspersed with giddy periods of excitement

that true, and most of us, will not plan the best use of edge points and ended up in low return or will transfer the point and expiry those point

i feel they do not want people hitting the 1L milestone every month, for obvious reasons! and as they keep delaying the point credit, a lot of people wouldn't be able to manage their points correctly thereby giving the bank an edge! im not saying its bad for either party, just that the bank is making sure that the users are hooked for the long haul rather than making quick RPs!

From a consumer standpoint if one spends 1lac 4 times in an year also it’s a huge rewards card for the 10k one pays
On top of that EazyDiner is added cherry if it’s used for bday alone it’s giving 3k value
