Axis IOCL LTF Application (trick) via Amazon (Pay) app

I was making utility bill payments on Amazon Pay using the Amazon app and saw a banner ad for LTF IOCL card.
I clicked on it and it opened the application process. It asked me for Axis customer ID and entered the OTP.



If you notice the Referral Code you can see it is pre-populated as Class1auto which you cannot change.

I then continued the application and filled in all details in the subsequent pages. And then it showed me this.



In addition it showed MyZone also as LTF. It also showed eligibility for all Axis cards except Reserve including Magnus which I already have but all with joining and Annual fees. I submitted the application and received the application number.

So I think it is the Class1auto referral code that does the trick to get it LTF?

A couple of hours later I received a call asking they can send someone for verification the next day. I said yes and typical for Axis no one showed up and no communication since. Called up CC but they have no visibility about the application process. Waiting to know what will happen.

Not in the case of Axis. They only consider Axis savings account holders to existing customer. Only credit card customer has to go through as new customer, all verifications will be done.

Well I hold only credit cards from Axis and no other relation.

My first Axis credit card was Select for which they collected my application twice and did over phone verification twice and in person once. For the second one, Magnus, only verification happened was executive coming to collect the application. Not even a phone call after that.

As for IOCL which I just applied they said they will send someone for verification but until now nothing. Its been five days.

Update: 5 days after application, an executive called me today. He came and collected some information about me, basically the same data I filled in while applying. The only addition was the photo he took and biometric verification. Didn't demand to see any proofs.

A whole 20 days after first application the card is now finally visible in the Axis app with Rupay bin!

There was no communication from Axis ever since I submitted the application. No message regarding approval was shared. There was no verification phone or email nothing. No despatch detail or any other information is shared as well.

Don't know if it is LTF yet. Expecting the card to suddenly show up at my door one fine day soon.

Axis will reject your application if you just have credit cards and choose existing customer while applying for a new credit card.

I wish I knew this before applying (applied in july and got rejected for same reason)

Got the SMS and email confirming card approval yesterday. Received tracking details today.

Also, credit limit for IOCL RuPay card is Rs.10000 lol. Interestingly this is separate from Magnus+Select shared CL which is 6.6L.

After nearly a month after application finally got the card delivered yesterday! And yes it is LTF!
Also Axis has given me a paltry credit limit of Rs.10000. Guess I will be using 50% of the limit nearly every month.
Card is of high quality solid PVC and not like the Select card which feels like cardboard. Number embossed on the front in traditional way.

You guys / girls are lucky. I’ve been an Axis customer with savings account (15+ years) and 2 credit cards for 9+ years. Can’t get any LTF cards. 🙁

Currently only Neo is available as LTF

yes i think November onwards they changed IOCL and moved on to NEO. This quarter may be only NEO.

Frankly Neo and Myzone have been downgraded and are not worth having even if free, because they occupy 1 or 2 of the 4 Axis cards you are allowed

You made a very wise decision. Axsh!t enforce customers to open savings bank account in order to get a goddamn credit card which can't be tolerated.
