Axis Magnus 10x edge points gift card capping

Hi is there any capping of 5x-10x rewards points (per month) through gift card purchases on Gift edge site, same like hdfc infinia/dcb(15000/7500)

This Gyftr is coming only since September. Earlier it never came.

I always cancel transaction when I see Gyftr. Although, since last 2 days, I am getting o2o continuosly. So they seemed to have fixed that. Or I was lucky in like 5/5 tries😅.

Seems I was just lucky at that time. Since yesterday got Gyftr on 6/6 occassions 😭.

Yes odds have reversed now. Rarely O2 comes and mostly GYFTR. Typical Axis shenanigans

Just curious reading this thread, still not clear. Does Axis not give bonus points if it is GYFTR merchant and easily gives it only when it is O2O? Why the skepticism here?

This gyftr thing started in September only so we can find out only when Sept months points are posted (probably in jan)

HDFC is much better in this, we get a SMS stating txn @GYFTR COM VIA SMARTBUY. 💯 no need to worry here 🙂


After checking this thread I just checked my SMS in Nov purchase on AXIS
- Myntra voucher SMS shows O2O
- BATA voucher one is from GYFTR

Even paytm also plays the trick
Just for loading wallet we get 4 different gateway in a day paytm, one97, paytm payments and paytm wallet
By looking at these I think daily basis they need to employ all gateways for some threshold post which they change other

See I feel it won’t matter to us on which payment gateway it is processed on because Axis doesn’t credit the bonus points transaction wise. They do it voucher value wise. So ideally, there should be some system which takes the dump out from GYFTR website for transactions done and posts it.
Payment gateway ideally shouldn’t matter.

Last I check with customer care it doesn’t matter it is Gyftr or O2O but reality will be known only later. Normal points and similar sms from gyftr saying “10x/5x/3x edge reward points will be credited in 120 days” along with voucher details in both cases. So i am assuming we should get in both.

In the last week of November, same issue happened with smartbuy. I did two transactions and merchant name was SB Rewards 360 instead of smartbuy. Its been 15 days and I didnot receive any bonus points. In december again merchant was smartbuy and i got bonus points on 3rd day

there is a difference on processing logic. HDFC has flat rewards multiplier whereas axis offers brand wise different x and you can purchase multiple brand in single transaction. So transaction gateway shouldn’t be a problem.

Here , it says 10k for Amazon pay and Flipkart vouchers. But, In actual, they allow 20k per month.

Actually this month Amazon pay vouchers are being allowed till 50k. Probably some employee got confused with shopping voucher and set incorrect limit.

Now it seems like they have removed o2o completely. Trying since Thursday. 4 tries each day. And all of them showed Gyftr.

If anyone still getting o2o, please update.

I am getting exactly same confirmation msg post transaction irrespective of whether it is gyftr or o2o. Normal reward points are also being received for both. And most cashbacks/rewards on most cards these days are linked to Merchant name or MCC.

O2O is known to give bonus points. So, it's safe option.

No transactions in June-september period.

Was ur transaction for Amazon voucher? I think Amazon voucher didn't had any offer in May-August months. Only in September 3x was introduced. So, if that's the case, u won't get any points.

Otherwise, raise to customer care after this month. 120 days is official timeline.

Is there a way to export these to excel to maintain a record of rewards received and pending.

PS. All vouchers were Amazon shopping 10k vouchers. And marks and Spencers I used grab deals 45x which got registered and I received the message.
