Hey Folks,

I am looking to travel to Barcelona (Spain) next month from Delhi/Mumbai, dates are flexible and I can manage as per best/cheap Flights availability. Can you please guide me on how to find the best available option? I am looking to book through Edge reward points.

Thank you 🙂

Hi Rohit,

This is the site i use - https://awardlogic.com/

There are also 2 great threads here in the Airmiles section which are a MUST READ! especially for rewards flighs

also it completely depends on what you want to maximise :
- ER spend VS Cash
- ER Rupee valuation
- etc

Best example i can give you is mine from less than 12 hours ago :

Having already spent a TON on Flights and hotels (way prior to my starting my CC journey on this forum or should I say thanks to this forum) - I didnt want to spend another RUPEE

Needed to book Seattle - SFO (last leg before return home) - 2 pax
wanted United or Delta First (their Biz Class which allows 2 free check in bags of 32kgs) - That research i did independently
2 pax

Cost - depending on my time requirements to reach SFO and have ample time before the next connecting flight - the cost was between 55 - 65k (67k on Travel Edge)

checked miles were exactly the same at 50k miles + $11.2 (total for both) - I say exactly the same as with the 5:4 conversion its approx 62.5k ER for 50k United miles

I had transferred the miles previously to United so went ahead and booked.

PS – for United you will need a US CC to book. Some issue with Indian CC and $ vs RS issue
