I think major devaluation will not happen because Axis (or other banks) earn good amount of money on every swipe. I guess it's around 1-1.5% of the amount. So people flocking to get Magnus and spending lots of money for reward points will be much higher as well. Don't forget around 20% of credit card holders default and there is big money for them.
My wish is Axis to continue the card as it is & competition come in to tackle this. It's a win win for us then.
Finally, magnus is approved. It shows in the App but not shipped yet. Is it fine if I unbox it in the axis app and use it online? Any danger of doing so?
25k milestone will always be there as that is not gives as a offer rather , it’s core USP of card as a devaluation they will limit nature of transactions that will be counted in 1 lakh and post that devalue the ER itself , apply cap on gyftr earnings etc

But as long as the card is active there are other devaluations which would be taken care first before removing the 25k milestone
The major thing that this card has is unlimited points in travel edge and a massive cap on gyftr ( 2.5 lakhs purchase in a month )
Not even infinnia could manage unlimited points in smart buy they had to restrict it to 7500 per day and some 15k in a month
