Axis Magnus Master List of Exclusions | Guide | Update Date: 9th June, 2023 - 5:30 AM IST

RedGiraffe+PayZapp combo is getting listed under insurance spends through Magnus. I'm not sure about the actual percentage but in my case I end up paying Rs.104(hardly 0.5% of my actual rent) extra using this.
Only one issue for me.
I paid April and May month rent by Pazapp+RG with Magnus.
But when I checked 'My money manager' in Netbanking, April month rent was considered under insurance payment. But for May month they didn't counted the expense.

In statement of both April and May month it's documented as insurance payment.

When escaleted the issue to customer care for May month transaction inclusion in 'my money manager', they replied will see the matter. But till date there is no response.

So I am little confused, will May month rent payment will be considered for milestone or not.

What is the procedure for paying rent through this method?

Firsrt Register for RedGiraffe.
Points to consider
1. Valid rent agreement is a must
2. Landlords PAN details is must.
3.Landlords bank details with IFSC code.
Will 2 days to get connfirmation. They will provide a RG ID.

Now open Payzapp app. Select rent payment. Use Redgirraffe option. Use RG ID. Use Magnus for rent payment.

What's the need for Money Manager, when it's already showing as Insurance in CC statement?
Yes. Correct. I just wanted to be sure that this particular transaction should be counted towards milestone expense. But Axis didn't replied.

Anyways, I will come to know after 3 months only. Will update that time.

I just hope that I will get Milestone, as It will be first time for me.

TIPS
  • Indirect Wallet Loads (e.g. loading money in Paytm wallet via Uber at 0% charge) aren't categorised under MCC code of 6540 most of the times and are counted towards Regular ER Points, monthly milestone and annual milestone.
  • Rent Payments made through RedGiraffe and PayZapp 2.0 combo are categorised as insurance spends and thus can be counted in monthly milestone and annual milestone.
  • Advance payments done on EMIs like Education Loan, Car Loan, etc. are not considered as EMI Transactions. EMI Transactions are specifically those transactions which have been made on card and converted into EMI.
  • Fuel Transactions between Rs. 400 and Rs. 4000 are awarded a fuel surcharge waiver of 1% and thus are not awarded Regular ER Points. So to gain Regular ER Points, do a transaction of at-least Rs. 4001.

I am compiling a list of exclusions in a single thread that apply on Axis Magnus card as these are scattered around in multiple threads on the forum.

I'll keep updating this list. You guys are also welcomed to let me know about any addition or subtraction from this list.
@James2307mr can you please confirm if aware that the Paytm indirect trick isn't working anymore, got informed here https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/magnus-wallet-loads.13730/post-236737

can someone confirm if my rent payment through the Payzapp and Redgiraffe combo will be calculated for the monthly milestones of 1 lac on Magnus?

A few weeks or maybe a couple of months ago I received 2 reward credits on a single USD online transaction that I did.

Reward points credit to my account froze for a week or 10 days while Axis I guess tried to figure out what happened. Would have been a technical issue I guess but it was flagged of by their system for correction.

After about 10 days one of the points credit was reversed and the pending transaction points came pouring in...

Is grabdeal and gryftr portal same ?
What will happen to shopping voucher in case of return of product?
