Axis Magnus - no update on approval

I had applied for Axis Magnus on 14th Oct at the branch. Biometrics verification along with income proof was taken. Its been 6 days today and there is no update on the application.

2 weeks back I had applied online and the application got rejected (due to insufficient information).

Hence I applied at the branch again on 14th. How many days does it typically take for approval and delivery - any one who has the card? What should I do in the interim? The bank person who took my application is not responding to my messages now.

For axis reserve or Amex play charge as long as we r eligible with salary they will offer happily since it’s big revenue for them

Since u hold vistara just try with cc
But sure if u hold their burgundy account u will get reserve card

I think it's Burgundy Private and not just Burgundy

Also 6L limit would be necessary on Magnus or Infinite for that (speculation)

I received the email on 21st same day as cibil enquiry stating final decision in 72hrs.

Applied via income docs. I have other axis bank cards too. But my first online application was rejected.

I would suggest everyone to apply via branch and not online. Online applications have a higher likelihood of getting rejected.

And honestly I feel there’s too much hype around Magnus. It’s not feasible to spend 1 L for most of the months. Also, it is likely to be devalued soon.

What is the point of having a pessimistic approach? Eterna was giving 3.75%+1% for more than a couple of years and it got devalued out of the blue

Depends. If they are trying to get citi customers, then it will be there until the merger is complete(end of 2023).

Not everyone is willing to spend 10k for credit card. That's why you see every other day people asking whether they can get magnus LTF.

Imo, there should be another card between magnus and reserve to rival prestige when magnus is devalued.

I've been trying for MyZone LTF and have had around 4-5 rejections during this time and early this year as well.
Applied for Magnus online now.
What is weird is let's my year of birth is 1980, my aadhar kyc reads it as 1981.
I've logged into aadhar as well, there isn't an issue with my birthdate there but definitely an issue with how stupid axis reads and parses.
I'm beginning to think that is the cause for my rejections. Any idea how to escalate this?
