Axis onboarded redgirrafe for rent payments

Update - Regiraffe offers Rent Pay feature which will tag payment as RENT so no reward points , or milestones or annual fee waiver for sure.

I received email today i.e., 27-Sep-2024 from Axis bank mentioned about rent payments via Redgirrafe.

Looks like Axis bank has onboarded Redgirrafe for rent payments but I am not sure what will be MCC code of redgiraffe and do we get points using this ?

In Short,

Rent - not eligible for reward points + milestone benefits + annual fee waiver calculation.

I found out that Redgirrafe charges 1.48% with no additional bank charges for maintenance - charges for Axis CC. This is much higher than Payzapp. For some reason, Payzapp payments are failing now

It is not working for me too...I am trying to pay it via my axis burgundy card

I use Magnus Burgundy card to pay my rent. This card does not charge anything extra for one rent payment per month. However, this gets taken away if you pay directly from Redgiraffe's website. So, from next cycle onwards, I will make rent payments via UPI 🙁, as no cards give any rewards.

I think M4B still gives points for upto 50K rent payment each month

Yes we get it but how did you pay? Payzapp RG is not working with my M4B this month

Here are the steps. Login to Redgirraffe. You will see a field called "Maintenance Card Issuing Bank"
Step 1 - Edit the bank name to Axis on the Redgirraffe dashboard.
Step 2 - Once done and it will approved within 5 minutes (probably automatically)
Step 3 - You will see a Pay option would be active on the RedGirraffe dashboard right below the RGID.
Step 4 - Click on Pay. You will be redirected to the payment window
