It's mentioned on Axis website that for privilege we can double the rewards after reaching milestone spend of 2.5L.

Not as you have written in first line but something like this. This will only be applicable once you reach the milestone spent of 2.5L. As with 2.5L spend you will earn 12500 Edge rewards and if you will choose to redeem the same for multi Brand vouchers the value with be 5000 Rs means reward (Means double the benefits). This you will get only if you choose multi brand voucher.

Edge reward to catalog voucher means 1% Reward. (20Ps per 100 spent)
Edge reward to Multi Brand Voucher is 2%Reawrd (means 40Ps per 100 spent)

that might be possible with less than 2.5 lakhs spending also if i accumulate

Like gyftr vouchers can give 10x edge points so if i buy 1 lakh rs Amazon shopping voucher in 1 year then i should get 30,000 edge points? (5000 base + 25,000 (5x))

Using these 30,000 edge rewards i can get multi brand voucher? That too with just 1lakh spending instead of 2.5 lakhs milestone?

Yes its possible to accumate points via 5X/10X categories spents without
spending 2.5L.You’ll need to have either 6.25K/12.5K points to be able to redeem for these options by choosing multi brand voucher for maximum 2% benefits.
