Axis removing utility and Govt spends from most cards

@TheMentalist

Vistara infinite excluded MCCs below.

The following MCCs have been excluded from CV Points eligibility: 6012, 6051, 6011, 6540, 6513

As per Axis 6012 and 6051 are both Insurance! Image below.

Has anyone here got CV points for insurance payment with Vistara infinite recently?

These are not for Vistara Infinite, but for Select, Flipkart and other cards where reward type is ER. For vistara infinite, reward type is Club Vistara points

Please read the vistara infinite document on the excluded MCC codes.

If Axis is defining MCC code 6012, 6050 as insurance, how will that change based on the card?

Axis cannot consider 6012 as insurance for ER card and something else for CV cards.

Ohhh...okay, so you used the reference image to get what are description of the mcc code..... got it, i thought you mentioning that it will apply to VI too, based on this document. 👍

Yes, but the problem is when you google 6012, 6050. They are not insurance MCC codes at all!
In Axis page it's in Insurance category which is very weird.
