Edit: In the wake of recent rumored devaluation of Magnus, this card and by extension this post loses it's relevance. So, unless you are after that 10pc Samsung discount avoid.

Hello TF,

Recently upgraded my almost useless Axis Privilege card to Samsung Visa Infinite card earning me a cool 30000 ER and as I already have a Magnus card (Transfer ratio of 5:4 for all ER) upon transferring it to more rewarding transfer partners like Vistara and Accor can easily get me around INR 18k in value after adjusting the joining fee of INR 5k + GST.

The buck doesn't just stop there on top of that I just realized it unlocks an amazing up to 8% value back on international spends with no caps, almost at par with Axis Reserve which is a INR 50k fee card. Cool right?

Also, If you spend on selected partner merchants like Myntra, Zomato, UC, Bigbasket, Tata 1Mg etc. you can net a really amazing reward rate of up to 12% that too without any caps again. Assuming you decide to transfer your ER to Axis transfer partners at 5:4 rate.

Other benefits of this amazing card 10% cashback on Samsung spends (even on no cost EMI spends) over and above existing offers upto 5k in a single transaction and 20k annualy. Free one year eazydiner prime membership, 25% off on dining when paid through eazydiner capped at Rs. 800 twice a month, and domestic and international lounge accesses (8 Domestic, 6 International every year) but yeah you have Magnus why do you even need them.

In short an amazing CC to help you unlock your Magnus superpowers even better.

PS: For those without a Magnus card, getting this card at a 5k joining and annual fee doesn't make any sense as it doesn't come up with any renewal benefits. For them imo the INR 500 membership fee Axis Samsung Signature will make more sense.

I have an Axis Air Vistara Infinite card as well, making this the ideal trifecta for frequent travellers. 😋

Happy multicarding 😁

Regarding the upgrade process, just a quick call to Axis Magnus priority support did the trick and after a few hours the new card was ready to unlock in the mobilebanking app with my useless privilege card now vanishing in to oblivion.

Have any individuals received a mail from Axis Bank regarding the devaluation of the Magnus card? I haven't received any communication yet, and there's someone suggesting that it might just be a rumor. Can you provide any insights or information on this matter?

No devaluation on #magnus and #reserve card. All are fake news, Dnt cancel your card, Stop Listening to CC Influencers, they are spreading fake news for their own benefit.

If anyone has received ER for normal transaction, please tell us how are they credited, transaction wise, or at end of statement, or some day after the statement?
I am yet to receive normal ER points since 50 days of card activation.. btw did receive joining benefits within 18 days

Had gotten this card for 30000 ERs essentially. Got in early part of July - with multiple transaction already but no sign of ERs - normal or joining bonus. I m looking at some overseas transactions - wondering if I should use this or magnus (already met 1L on that) - but not confident about points appearing on Samsung infinite. Anybody with similar experience of overseas spends with correct ERs crediting?

30k ER points take 60 days to credit, your regular edge rewards will credit with each monthly spends. This card is really good for international transactions contingent Magnus doesn't devalue as per the rumors.

I have seen posts of ppl getting joining bonus with magnus milestone so less worried about that - but what worries me is normal ERs. ERs on overseas spends is very good imho. But I dont want to get into chasing those with axis cust care

Confused reading this. Just got Magnus 2 months back.

Ignore as the update says, it's no longer valid with recent Magnus devaluation.
But if you open a plain Burgundy savings account with minimum 10 lakhs average quarterly balance or 30 lacs fixed deposits, after 5 days you will get an SMS with a link to confirm acceptance of the terms in conditions to avail 5:4 conversion ratio on your Magnus card linked to the Burgundy savings account.

Right now Axis software systems are not working properly, so the Burgundy account holders and not receiving this 5:4 conversion ratio, but it should happen anytime after 15 September

I am getting LTF for Neo only on the Axis App.

Trying to convert my World Privilege MC to something else: Suggetions if any?

Avoid, because 1 of 4 Axis cards allowed will be wasted
