Axis Vistara Infinite Mess Up

I recently asked for an upgrade of my Vistara Signature card to Vistara Infinite. Did the whole process on call with Customer care.

Now, today I have received the card, but on the app and in the form that comes in package, it is shows as an add on card to my Vistara Signature.

Also, the joining fees has been written as 0 while the annual fees is 10,000, so I am in doubt if I would even receive the CV Gold benefits and the free ticket or not.


This is so messed up by axis, Has anyone else faced this before?

What I meant is we can book 2 business award tickets with vouchers and upgrade 2 premium economy revenue tickets to business class using class upgrade vouchers right? Or do class upgrades also come under the 2 business award seat quota?

It will stay even if u upgrade it to infinite but will lapse on the expiry but can be extended for 3 months if nominal fee paid

I recently received VI but haven’t activated it yet. Having second thoughts though and planning to convert to Signature variant. Any idea if that’s possible? Shall I just call customer care and ask for the change?

Did you speak with customer service? has it been resolved?

They seem confused. First they told me that use it as an add on card if it is issued. That was pointless, so I told them upgrade it properly, fir which they said they can't because I already have 4 cards. Then I asked them to cancel the add on card, they told me to wait and that they will try to upgrade the card properly. Still waiting

I asked for an upgrade of Signature card last week. Let's see what I go through

If u hold infinite it is not an upgrade to visatara signature but downgrade. Incase you hold the basic vistara then it is upgrade to signature. Mostly even in customer care they dumbo don't understand between upgrade and downgrade. Even for downgraded card they say will upgrade to so and so. Not sure why in customer care they don't teach them properly looks like even their line managers are dumbos

I got the card and got billed the annual fee
