Bank account closure delay and unauthorized registered phone number change

I had 2 IOB bank accounts linked to a single netbanking login and had requested for closure of 1 of the accounts.

The bank branch collected the passbook but didn't close the accounts for 3 months. After it was escalated to higher officials via email, the bank has now closed the account.

Along with account closure (my assumption), I received SMSs for KYC update & registed mobile number change, with the SMS text implying I had requested for these changes (I had not authorized or requested these changes).

Now due to the mobile number change in the netbanking, I am not receiving OTPs anymore.

Does either of the issue come under any compensation clause (assuming IOB bank does fix the issues without RBI intervention) ?

did they change the number back automatically or you had fill up forms to restore your number ?
This story starts at Nov 23 i request BOI for closing my Bank account at that time they collect my passbook and after few days UPI MB IB disabled so I assumeed my account was closed so last month I received SMS regarding your account is inactive complete your kyc. After that I go to branch and said my account is closed or not they was saying account not close they said fill the form for account closing. So I don't fill the form because their mistakes why I resolve so came my home after that 3 4 days I sent email to customer care with all story after that 2 days after received call from branch I told story they said okay we now closing this account they told you can come to branch I clearly said why I come to branch I they proceeded for closing account as sadi but their employees after 3 days I received SMS from BOI my mobile number changed to 0000 so I contacted customer care they saying no mobile number changed request received. After that I frustrated so still no action taken but in next week may be i raise RBI ombudsman complaint claim for compensation because since 1 year they not closed my account if you any take action please guide me
