Bank of BAroda account issue

I opened a super savings account around 4 days ago online, the account activated after vkyc in the evening.
Issue is I am unable to login in BoB World App as it says that my phone number is not registered with any account whereas I received the SMS of my new account number and Customer ID on that same number.

I have tried to register the number on bib world, but it requires Debit card details for registration, but still there has been no SMS about welcome kit dispatch or anything.

I found in a few circumstances, some people name their handles with female names even though they are boys...

I really don't know the purpose behind it..

In the app, tap View All Accounts and keep tapping your account/ balance. You’ll reach where you want to go.

Took 20 days. Just wait, nothing you can do to fast-forward it.

Possible outcomes may range widely , such as :
You will receive your kit in 10 to 20 days with/ without SMS notification..
You might even receive despatch sms notification after it's successful delivery..
They will send it by India post.. this means anything can happen.. you can add India post's X factor here..
Your kit may be delivered to nearest branch also citing that your address was not found...
So essentially you are in very safe hands of BOB the Builder and the the India's snail 🐌 post aka Speedpost... 😉

Enjoy and appreciate the experience, don't bother too much.. eventually you get there !!

I tried unblocking and then re-creating a new virtual card. It worked. It was so simple. 😬

I went to BOB branch to open Super savings account today. Account code he mentioned was SB117.

There's 2 things that i was told
1. In Rupay, only rupay platinum and classic is showing up as an option while opening the account
2. It is showing rs 200+gst and Rs150+gst respectively for these variants in their system.

I am having doubts few doubts and would really appreciate it if you could clarify,
1. If I take the above cards,. Will these cards be 1st year free?
2. Let's say i took rupay platinum while opening the account, Will i be able to apply for Rupay select or any other card later? And will they be FYF?

Bob takes it own time in processing things. It took me about one month to receive welcome kit, set up internet banking , …….

Once you have super savings account, you can upgrade your DC to RSDC without any fee. Your basic platinum DC also should be free, I am not sure why he is saying it is chargeable.
