I had recently applied for a BOB debit card but no news about it from the bank, I can see in the app 2 cardS
one is a virtual card the other one seems to be the physical card.

I had applied for a RuPay Platinum..
Will the virutal card provide all the benefits of the physical card?
For eg BOB Debit cards have some offer in Swiggy. Can I use the virtual card to avail such offers until I get the physical one?

yes i've closed my physical card which was in MC variant with yly 275+ fee.
currently using virtual rupay platinum and yes it works for amazon friday offers and swiggy too.
App shows another rupay platinum bpcl physical but didnt avail it since 300+ charges yly

yes. get physical only if you plan to use it for ATM. the benefits remain the same.

Nope, no refund on AMC charges for debit card. Virtual card is enough, I've also blocked my physical card.

No dc fee once debited then gone
Even if u cancel next day
That too in bob noway of reversal

bob world go to cards section its much easy virtual only if u opt then no physical bcos physical card i separate section

Yeah, No AMC or Issuance fee for Virtual Cards.

As of 2022 no
Bob generally revisit their charges in June every year and change from August so hopefully till 2023 August lets enjoy free virtual rupay platinum

no AMC for virtual as of now. If I remember correctly, when you try to create a virtual card in app, there will be a message that that there is no AMC. BOB world is for savings accounts, BOB cards is for credit cards

So bob cc if we get that cannot be viewed in world app?
I hold savings acc only with bob currently and future plans for some premium card from them

yea bob cc is entire different company called bob financial, it can't be viewed in bob world.

Nope it’s about to expire on Apr 2023 and I blocked to avoid charges and cut to pieces
it’s issued around 2014 on MC i think it was their new rising sun logo time so they organize full yellow and orange design

i dont know for sure if they check savings account, but on online application of credit cards, there will be a text box to enter savings account customer id. only thing i observed is the card can be applied with just any bank statements without salary slips or ITR, but it seems like providing salary slips will give higher limits.

yea i have Easy card, its a worthless card, but i got it as LTF. But beware, the customer support over email is not that good compared to other banks. They take very long time to reply and phone support is not great too. Get the cards only if its LTF, otherwise they are useless.
