Bank of baroda lifetime free offer closed?

TF Legend
Hi, Today I applied BOB credit card as I heard it was LTF till 31st March. Easy, Select and premier.

But during application, Rs. 1000 fee had cross line, and once application came for eSign, it is showing Rs. 1000.

I don't think it's LTF.

CIBIL enquiry has done 🙁. I will not proceed now for eSign and VKYC.

Total waste.

It will be considered as conditional LTF. if annual fee waiver condition not satisfied then you will be charged annual fee for that card.
Looks like BoB also give cards like HDFC used to give conditional LTF cards.
So, if we satisfy first 60days (Rs 6000) and annual fee condition(35k) then, will it be made LTF i e from 3rd year, even if spend condition is not satisfied , there won't be any charges ?

If not, then even other cards also have spend based reversal, why is this called LTF.

Guys, Can somone confirm confirm whether this is unconditionally lifetime free or not?

Mine took around 1.5 month's to receive the card as I didn't have a local proof for which the application was on hold for 20-25 days and later submitted rental agreement as a local proof and got it approved.

It showing stamp of LTF and giving instruction to spend basis waiver

Your screenshot is unconditional LTF. And in BOB there is no spend based LTF (like HDFC) and most importantly currenty BOB providing LTF on certain cards only, do check before apply.

It looks clear in desktop, based on my earlier application experience and other posts, they crossed 'Fee' and kept big stamp that says 'Life time Free' (which means there is no fee in life time of that particular card in pocession) and their mistake is unfortunely they didn't crossed 'Reversal/waiver criteria' - hence confusion to some.

Anyway, here is the way if they charge fee..

Key observations here: if like someone said, "it is LTF based on required spends" - why they didn't put that stamp in 2nd image (that also qualifies same, right?)

I can see only 'Easy' LTF and remaining all chargeable and get fee waiver based on spends.

@hackymanoj - Which card, and what context/ background made it LTF?

@helloworld - Which card(s) is this for? I need to get a BOB card (pref LTF or FYF) for certain sale offers.

As of today, this one is LTF - https://www.bobfinancial.com/easy-card.jsp

But, this is not a good one, if ok apply snapdeal card with 290rs. annual fee (I hope that is not too much) which is good one. Double benefits than above card without any exclusions (as of today).

But, based on my association compared to last year in 2023 bob has very limited offers and whatever offers they provided they're limited to specific categories (limited to electronics, shopping, etc.) which can be easily compensated with other cards, if you have any.

If you have some good cards, you don't even need BOB cards* (depends on those cards).

So some sites have BOB 15% for certain clothes and stuff I am trying to get.

It might be a short term offer/ deal. So when such deals show up I just need a BOB card I am guessing.

Good for what? what benefits? What exclusions?
PS: I have APAY, Magnus, SBI CB, ... as current cards BOB intent is just for discount offer deals.

Did not see many other cards offer the 15% theirs did for said clothes.

"Good" in what way? As I said, currently BOB is just a "15% offer" backup. So LTF is preferred unless your suggest card fees can be cashed easily.

Didn't I answered your query? I'm confused.

LTF - follow provided link
Other better suggestion in BOB - apply mentioned card

Rest all the points related to based on mentioned suggestions and amzn/fk 10% offer in mind not for "15% offer" cloth websites.

Could you list those 15% offer sites? Will check if any other cards provide better benefits (since its apparel, I have high hopes). Anyway, already provided your answer.

Re: Ignore, you just need LTF and "15% offer" backup. Apply provided link card.
