Bank of Maharashtra || Rupay select debit card || REVIEW

This is just for information for people who hold Rupay Select Debit card (i am holding Bank Of Mahashtra- RSDC). When i sent a query to Rupay team regarding the benefits update frequency / renewal of benefits -every year or quaterly, i received following response.

"Please note for the Bank of Maharashtra Rupay Select Card starting with first 6 digits as 6524** the benefit frequency details are based on calendar year and can be redeemed once service out of each category and the details are as follows:

OTT ( Amazon Prime/ Zee5/ Sonyliv): Yearly once
Cab (Ola/ Uber): Quarterly
Healthcare (SRL/Thyrocare): Quarterly
Spa (For Fountains/ HR Wellness/ Kairali/ Aromathai/ O2 Spa/ Lakme): Quarterly
Fitness ( Cult.fit 1 Month/ Cult.fit 3 Months): Quarterly
Golf Round: Quarterly
Golf Lesson: Quarterly "

Previously i thought all benefits were updated yearly only, but now i can use the coupons extensively.
Bank of Maharashtra offered RSDC for free by opening a min bal 25k account.
i hope its useful for all members.

On BOM website it is mentioned as 1L AMB. Account variant 25k Smart SB Scheme but AMB is not 25k to get RS DC I guess.

Yes for bss25 25k variant, rsdc will be directly issued.

For regular accs, 1L has to be there to issue rsdc

Branch is very close to me I will go and check with them what documents I need for account opening Aadhaar, PAN and do I need to carry photos?

Is it better to open online or offline? cuz offline they might select some acc instead of Smart SB.

Why would they open any other account than what u want?
Just tell them u want to open BSS25 variant account or 25k balance variant account, in case u want double verification then ask them with this variant rsdc will be LTF or not

Bank staff are like that in BSS there are 15k and 25k so they might select one of them randomly and issue RuPay Platinum.

Bank staff are like that in BSS there are 15k and 25k so they might select one of them randomly and issue RuPay Platinum.

No, they are very well aware of bss25 with free rsdc.
Problem with branch is ,they are attaching some schemes like nps,ppf along with account opening.
Better to open online

That's the case with every bank
I simply remove those pages and submit just the main application form

Can we add Uber coupon to wallet and use later or it has expiry. I am not sure if I will make use of spa benefits as majority are massage related 😀I don't need massage.

After adding uber voucher to wallet it has 1 year validity.
U can always do giveaway of stuff u don't need🙂😝

1 yr wallet load expiry is fine I was hoping they would force us to use in 15 days or 1 M.

U need to add voucher to wallet within 30 days as per tnc
After adding to Wallet it has 1 year validity
