That's because of software update. I don't understand how software update leads to issue of green lines. Absurd. Btw most of the brands fix it free of cost if there is no physical damage.
Where is between 11k and 15K , a very important segment

I have found this to be very accurate. Not in absolute number but comparatively. Like iphone 14 plus has an endurance rating of 102h. So you are looking for a phone with endurance rating near or above that if you think you are satisfied with iphone 14 plus' battery life. Can change the durations also to get a better endurance rating based on your specific use cases.
Like for example, s23 fe would most probably have closer to s22 5g. S22 5g with 3700mah battery has an endurance rating of 85h. But s23fe has a bigger battery, 4500 mah. So if we just extrapolate, you would get closer to 102h of endurance rating which incidentally is pretty close to iPhone 14 plus. Btw we have to do this back of the hand calculation because phone is new and hasn't been tested by gsmarena yet.

Software controls the hardware. New software update sometimes end up bringing small changes (or errors) to the mechanism which controls the voltage across the display grid. Sometimes these changes coincide with the general wear and tear of a phone such that it leads to higher voltage applied across a column than it couldn't handle leading to short circuit of leds along that column and results in a green line. Don't ask followup questions, know someone in samsung's display wing who explained it like this.

Yeah. Their endurance ratings are industry best. Have very consistent results across many smartphones for me.
As battery is my main concern.. I always go and check this site for the mobile that I am interested in.. These guys give almost perfect score..
