Best Axis card for a beginner with low Cibil? - Co-branded cards

gabzvee

TF Select
So I only have 2 cards currently - Onecard secured (7 months old) and Unsecured SBI SimplyClick (1month old)

I read in another post that getting Axis cards are easier through co-branded cards...
In that case which would be the best to apply? Airtel Axis? FK Axis? Axis ACE?
(I had tried Ace when I had 720 CIBIL and 4 months history, got rejected instantly)

Wanted to know if I should try for Axis Airtel or MyZone? Since offer is on only till 31st March... FYF
MY CIBIL now is 754 and ITR currently 4.5L

Since you got rejected 4 months ago...you need to wait 2 more months before reapplying for Axis CC online...may I know what is the limit of your Onecard?

OneCard limit started out with 22k, and monthly I kept adding small FDs there, by 4th month I had 52k limit (because I needed to use 18-25k every month and realized that I need to keep utilisation low...

As for the Axis card, I had applied for ACE, now Airtel Axis, does the 6 month wait still apply?

There should be a gap of 6 months between 2 CC Applications on Axis

If your credit limit is 52k then go for HDFC business Moneyback CC via Offline...give them your latest Onecard CC Statement and apply C2C...it's been given LTF till 31st March

Try any icici ltf cards withc2c
Do u have icici account

No, only SBI and Federal bank accounts...
But shouldn't I let my limit on any other card reach ~1L before applying for Amazon ICICI? - For max limit

Also, C2C ICICI online or via branch?
It’s from amazon app it will go ease
Nothing that u need 1l limit actually apay icici card if u get low limit I mean less than 50k also every 6 months they give good enhancements so that moving to big limits like 3 lakh is easy this way

There should be a gap of 6 months between 2 CC Applications on Axis
Oh! didn't know that, thanks! I'm assuming I would get instantly rejected if I followed my impulse last night and applied 😆

52k limit is enough to show for HDFC? I'm self employed so thought I need to have more CIBIL and credit limit to be able to get HDFC, also, will it be a problem to upgrade to other cards like Millennia later? I saw some people having issues upgrading, basically suggesting not to fall for the hdfc moneyback card trap

So apply for APay ICICI directly?
Currently, my bank statement shows 40k salary (from my own partnership firm) and ITR 4.5L this year so far, last year's ITR was 1.8L
And CIBIL only 754

Well I just got mine so I suggested you...it's a LTF CC... what's the harm?
To upgrade to Millennia CC you need atleast a credit limit of 1 lakh

Give try to freecharge axis card if it's show you in application.
It would be approved instantly.
I just got freecharge Axis as my first unsecured card , had onecard since 10 months.

That's a Killer CIBIL score considering a 2k limit OneCard 🤯
Did you have any other credit products?
Back in September - December 2021, I had multiple personal loan (applied on mobile app) and Credit line, but closed most of it by December 2021.
The last credit line (pay later service) I closed was Amazon Pay, had 15K limit, used between November 2021 to December 2022.

My lowest CIBIL was 751 (caused applied multiple credit cards at once that time), then after using my credit lines which were Amazon Pay later, Flipkart Paylater, Paytm Postpaid (which limit was 40k) carefully, my CIBIL went up to 788.

At that time I was overconfident, so applied for SBI, Paytm HDFC, Flipkart Axis cards, got rejection, and CIBIL fall to 754.

Now, I have Bandhan loan of 50K, OneCard (will close it today, as it's of no use now), Airtel Axis Card (approved 2 days ago, 15K), and Tata Neu Plus HDFC Card (got approved yesterday, 50K).
