Most probably yes, for that you might have to apply to change the pension account to Canara Bank.
Pension already getting in Canara 110 Jeevandhara General account in last 5 yrs, previously that was pension account in Canara... Probably Jeevandhara Diamond launched recently with more extra benefits,so want to upgrade it,But staffs tried to convert it but account status still showing old...Can you share the scheme code for Jeevandhara Diamond??

Please do a complaint in canara grievance portal. Few things can't be done by branch people.
They will do it.

No written proof! It was communicated verbally only.
.
No issues. If you still want to open the account write to the branch with cc to hocss1@canarabank.com mentioning you want to open this account as per eligibility criteria mentioned in Canara Bank website but branch staff refused to open the account (give date and counter number/staff name). Most likely you will not get a response, so after 7 days write to hocss1@canarabank.com on top of the previous mail complaining against the branch. And if still no resolution, complaint to RBIO. Keep a screenshot of the account details (all tabs) from Canara Bank Website. Take full screen shot which shows your system date and time.

It was in Feb '25. The Sr. Citizen had some money to invest. After that experience with the Canara BM, we decided not to invest in Canara, and went elsewhere. All fights are not worth fighting.

All fights are not worth it.

Agreed and the choice is yours. But I always believe in taking up the fight if possible (sometimes it is not possible for various reasons), so that others won't have to suffer.

Regarding my fight with Angel account, I didn't convert it either. After they agreed to convert it post my complaint to HO, I simply went back and closed the existing account. Then opened new Angel account in different branch. Made sure, they not only lost the fight, they lost the customer too.
