Buy gyfty from the app to get the 2% cash! The card itself gives ~10% rewards on spends in the form of Air Indian points

With the 70% utilization, one don't loose the 30% points! E.g. for flights, consider it as payment of taxes! Plus, (I think) we should also get ~14% rewards on the 30% payment !
Thus, ignoring the 70% formula

I don't agree with the calculation since at 70%, u r not using the 30% points - means denominator to calculate % will also reduce accordingly.. Trust we are on same page here!

It will be a devaluation on how fast we could redeem our points but not on effective reward rate of the card

Have bought 60k vouchers through 2 add-on numbers and no issues

So if they reduce the utilization ratio will it be a devaluation or not ?

Ofcourse it will be a devaluation of the card and I may shift to Magnus Burgundy! But I dont see a logic to devalue a point which is redeemed at 1:1!
so, if realization comes down per point from 1:1 to 1:0.2, I will see it as devaluation of a point...
