Which is the best card for big dining bill payments (1.5 lac+ without eazydiner/dineout)?

Some of the dining specific cards all have cappings so they r not beneficial here.

One can go with Amex as well. Good discounts on higher bills.

AU Zenith - has 5% reward rate on all restaurants.
With quarterly milestone of 2L, it becomes 5.5.

Depending on the restaurant, check special offers with Amex, they generally have some very good offers for Platinum card holders.

If it's on zomato and payment is possible through it, buy zomato vouchers through Axis grabdeals (5x), so 5x points + monthly milestone for Magnus. I think there's 10x offer also on grabdeals (direct zomato).
Even if it's just swipe, Magnus/Amex card (check if there are any offers) should give max benefit.

diners black gives 6.6% reward on weekend dining.

Amex Platinum - They have listed some premium restaurants which offer good discounts. They do have a cap on headcount though - you can check this out in case you have a platinum.

DCB - as mentioned above 6.6% on weekend dining

other than that, I normally prefer a Magnus considering that it will add to the milestone spend, plus a good amount of Edge Reward points as well.
