Best card for JioMart

srikant

TF Premier
I live rather frugally -- apart from occasional travel, groceries are my only significant spending category (apart from significant "insurance" and minimal utilities). The physical stores near me mostly only take UPI (I have a fair few UPI cards, OK), so I make bigger grocery purchases from JioMart to put them on credit. Even they tend not to cross the 600-rupee mark BB has for free delivery, which is why JioMart.

Which cards give good rewards on JioMart? Please give options from multiple banks.

Also - supposing I use BoB Easy, PNB Platinum, Kotak Urbane or HDFC MoneyBack+, is paying via UPI on JioMart going to reward me more than directly using as a RuPay credit card?

Yes you can get LTF neu card that. If not then get FYF and email their customer service to make it LTF.
Is it HDFC Customer Service that I should email? (They aren't very fun to interact with TBH! If it's a Tata team / some other team from HDFC than the one dealing with MoneyBack / Millenia etc., it should be OK...)

Don't know card specific offers.

But JioMart itself offers some good discount from time to time., especially of WhatsApp order/ shopping.

For example, couple of months ago, They were offering 30% discount on final cart value (when ordered and paid through WhatsApp). Availed 2 or 3 times. then there were 20% and 15% discount offers (when ordered through WhatsApp)

Most recently I availed 15% discount offer on final cart value.

Any catch / cap?

I think I almost hate HDFC more than I love Tata. Because my HDFC limit is 1.3L, I'm only being given Tata Neu Plus. (And only FYF.) Didn't take it, though CIBIL got hit. 🙁

So I'm kinda likely to return to JioMart - between BoB Premier, Energie and Snapdeal which would be best for JioMart? And are Kotak Urbane / League any good there?

MAYBE I'll just pick up some IndusInd -- is any of it available in RuPay at all (it doesn't show up on UPI, but could still be RuPay ...)?

No. Any of the IndusInd card would work.

I'm not telling you about coupon discount listed on Jiomart. This is about going through payment mode 'Pay with Rewards' and paying via IndusInd card.

IndusInd provides discount when payment is done through Pay with Rewards. That doesn't need minimum order value. Also your Pay with Rewards account get some cashback for future payment as well.

So you end up getting discount+cashback at the same time.
Like like they've put in a minimum order size for discount now? And it's a huge number too! 😡

OK, now that IndusInd Legend's kinda become useless -- and I've acquired BoB Snapdeal, could folks please tell if between Snapdeal and MoneyBack+ RuPay what's better?

Snapdeal should give 2.5% if I pay directly (without UPI). Does MoneyBack+ give 20 points/150 = INR5/150? Seems to be slightly more, then.
