Hello community members.
I am a beginner level credit card enthusiasts.

Through this post I want your views on best useful credit card app( inhouse/ original).

Out of my portfolio of credit cards, I have used Amex , Axis, IDFC, HDFC apps.

Amex- It's very easy to use. All the relevant info is available. Not the fastest, but descent enough operation speed. Chat support-Resopnsive and resolves queries instantaneously. Overall very good app.

Axis bank- difficult to understand, hangs multiple times, slow. Gives descent info.over all ok.

HDFC- Hardly remember using it.

IDFC- unistalled as I didn't found it much useful.

Please share your views and opinion about different apps.

ICICI - no one can match their tech
Amex - Experience in the business is clearly shown in their app
IDFC - Keep it Simple silly type
Axis - Cluttered , clearly shows inexperience
HDFC - Okish nothing fancy , but gets the job done
BOB - intuitive and neat
PNB - one of the best for PSU
SBI - Great app
Yes bank - Pathetic
Stanc - Gets the job done
RBL - Good app almost everything has a separate app dedicated to credit cards
Federal - Too much restrictions

I feel the credit cards app should be more engaging and fun to use. For example CRED app, it engages you for a long time.Nicely seggregated information. Clean UI.Lots of offers on display. One might end up shoppping couple of items also.

+1 for Icici's iMobile app
+1 for Sbi's Sbi Card app

Citibank app has a sort of poor interface. but gets the job done.

I use hdfc netbanking which gives all the credit card information out there so did not find their app useful. Yes, the app has far less options to present than in netbanking, so I stopped using it.

Thanks,
Agreed

In CC apps.
SBI is good. Gets points instantly. I can raise request easily. If u put card closure request, u get immediately call back.

Custcare is pathetic though.
You're right in pointing out that the app is good, but oftentimes when there is any issue while using their product, the response time taken by SBI's customer back-end team is very long.

I personally find HDFC as the best banking app. It’s fast, easy to use and shows reward points even before statement is generated. Statement download is really easy. Only issue is find is if you close the app without logging out, you’ve to wait to 5-7 mins to log back in. But that you get used to.

AMEX is good but a little too basic. Axis is also good but a little slow sometimes.

ICICI is just average. PNB and Kotak are the worst.

The only issue with Amex is that it doesn't show points separately in case of multiple cards.
