Does HDFC DCB, IDFC Wealth CC provide rewards on gold/Jewellery purchases?
The GV route should work in such cases.. buying Amazon Shopping vouchers and then respective gold/jewellery vouchers from Amazon
Other than GV, can we buy gold with Credit card offline @ shop.. Planning to buy in a weeks time using DCB / Sapphiro / Zenith card... need suggestion from Community...

I'm planning to get plat travel for jewellery purchase.
Amex should work. It worked for my MRCC. AU LIT also works
My Amex card was declined today at a gold store. Tried thrice, first for 2.36lakhs, then 1lakh then just for 36k but all three transactions were declined. In the POS machine it was written card not honoured.
Upon contact amex customer care number they informed me that Amex has some policy that the card needs to be atleast 6 month's old before makings any transaction towards gold. My card is 2months old
