In the world of personal finance, many people are always looking for ways to manage their money better and get the most out of their spending. One popular strategy that's gaining traction is using debit cards to pay off credit card bills. This allows you to earn cashback on expenses that wouldn't normally earn rewards. In this article, we'll explore this concept and look at some of the best debit card options for paying off credit card bills.

Understanding the Strategy

Typically, credit card bills are paid using money from a bank account, either automatically or by manual transfer. While these payments don't usually earn rewards, some banks offer cashback incentives for using their debit cards to pay bills. By strategically using a debit card for credit card payments, you can earn cashback on expenses that wouldn't otherwise earn rewards.

Choosing the Right Debit Card

When choosing a debit card for paying credit card bills, there are a few things to consider:
  1. Cashback Percentage: Look for a debit card that offers a good cashback percentage on bill payments.
  2. Debit Card Fees: Consider any fees associated with the debit card, such as monthly fees or transaction fees.
  3. Account Requirements: Make sure you meet any requirements to qualify for the debit card you're interested in.

ALERT: Indusind and Federal Bank are in a freezing spree on accounts which used Debit cards for high amt payments "While Federal Bank is mostly doing credit freeze Indusind is doing total freeze"

While these transactions can be anything CC payments genrally are high value. I am tracking a case of Induind where he has submitted proof of income and added the transaction details as well to the BOM/BM, Indusind. Also the BOM has taken his home pics and job pay slips but it is still in total freeze status. I will revert back once some movement occurs and his spends per month from Indusind debit card was 1.9-2.1lac while his corporate salary was 1.5L and money from other sources "Rental" was 0.8L.

They have taken pics of his house "In parents name" and car "In his name" among other details mentioned above.

There is a Federal Bank case as well but its complete details are pending.

INDUSIND FREEZE CODE = [653548]

It was present from the beginning only. SBI Unipay and Airtel have Telecom and Utility MCC that's why we receive RPs.

Oh my God yar, it is per financial year.
1k points (250rs) per 50k in a year is 0.005%.
So ur net reward rate is 0.5+0.005=0.505
Don't say upto 1% please its dishonor &. Misleading surely
Bhai aap maths mei kamjor ho thode aur dishonour ki baatein karre😂, calculator hi use karlete aisi baat thi toh

250/50000=0.005, if you convert to % it's 0.5%
