Hotel Points Best hotel to book using Bonvoy points in Singapore

Hi,

Can someone suggest which hotels are best to book using bonvoy points in Singapore. We are looking for a 7-night stay. And do these hotels offer free breakfast?

Thanks

The rates would vary depending on when you're planning to go and how many points you have.

The pricing does not include breakfast, but if you're Gold member or above, the staff might or might not offer you this as an added amenity.

I just completed my travel to Singapore and would share the below with you:
1. Hotels are Expensive... and small.
2. When you book with points, Breakfast is not included. I called the hotel so understand if they can make an exception for me ( citing gold status.. blah blah) but the answer was a no.
3. stay near Little india if you want India food options. But staying there will not give you the feeling of living in Singapore.
4. If #3 is important for you, go with serangoon house.

Thanks for the reply. I saw the Serangoon house but didn't really like it. And staying near little India is not important for us

Any other hotel suggestions you have? I was thinking Aloft or Sheraton tower - but like you said, the rooms look very small.

I was trying to do some math and 1 point is roughly coming to equivalent of 0.6-0.65 INR. Did you find any other hotel that gave better value for the points

JW South Beach - best option
Marriott Tang Plaza - better option than sheraton towers if you are getting at decent value
Sheraton Towers - if points requirement for Tang plaza is more
Westin - modern look and feel
W Sentosa - if u plan to stay in sentosa for a couple of days

When I visited Singapore, I zeroed in to Marriott Tang Plaza .
Reasons :
1. Points requirement was less in comparison to the other Marriott properties. (There was cheaper options too like Sheraton tower but not that good)
2. I wanted a place which is centrally located and well connected. So what can be better than the famous Orchard road. The MRT (metro) station is just below the hotel lobby (i mean it ; there is an escalator from MRT station which directly takes you to hotel cafe), so anytime of the day, for me; going to different places to Singapore was comparatively cheaper as I didn't had to rely only on taxis and can take a MRT.
3. Shopping and eateries were just opposite to hotel as it is located right opposite to Orchard road malls.
4. hotel offers a menu which has some Indian dishes too, so if you are travelling with a kid and want to order a in-room dining, so you have couple of Indian dishes to order from.
5. if you plan to stay in Sentosa, then W is a good option.

Marriott Tang Plaza, Westin and W (Sentosa have best point values) while Aloft is a great deal for almost half the points.

Unless you are titanium or above, the chances of any Marriott hotel giving you free breakfast is almost 0%

The generally point values estimate for Bonvoy points is about 0.8 cents/ point which is about INR 0.65 per point.

I am assuming you are aware that you will pay points for 6 nights on a 7 night stay (1 free night in every 5 redemption nights) & have calculated that when deriving point value
