DCB Best platform for education payment

I need to do school payment of 1.2 lakhs to schools bank account.
Kindly suggest best platform to pay it via credit card (DCB or Atlas).
Also do I need to take permission from school that I can use a 3rd party platform or not?

Not exactly an answer to what you are asking but keep in mind the following before doing your transaction.

1. Most banks have disallowed education MCC for rewards.
2. The school may charge a transaction fee of anywhere between 1-3% in case you use your card to make payment.

So unless, you are looking to achieve some milestone benefits, I don't think it would make sense.

I think DCB still gives points for education payments.

Best option is to use redgiraffe for registration and then use hdfc Billpay. It will come under utility mcc.

but they don't accept DCB .. They clearly mention only Visa, Mastercard and Rupay accepted...
Thats the DCB pain we have to live through..

They want all of us LTF Alumni holders to move to paid Infinia 🤣.

I think bob snapdeal still gives 2.5% on all categories including rent and education. It wasn't mentioned in devaluation notice last year and I haven't seen anyone reporting otherwise too. I have tried it with utility, but not with rent/education.
