Hello guys,

With the devaluation of ACCOR points conversion (2:1), what do you suggest is the best value for money redemption option for the reward points accrued post January? Accor used to give approx 1.8 Rupees per 1 RP, is there any other method which gives >1 Rupee value per RP? I was planning to use the smartbuy Flight/Hotel redemption (1 RP = 1 Rupee) if not.

Yes that's the choice I am considering right now. But is there a better option which gives a value of >1 Rupee for RP?

When did this devaluation happen? It still shows as 1:1 on the website.

It will be applicable from 15th January. Will be 2:1 instead of 1:1. So if you want to transfer, you can still do it till 14th Jan.

Krisflyer is a decent option or else use it to book revenue tickets using Smartbuy.

the normal tickets purchased by paying money (directly or indirectly)....and not the award seats which can be booked using points/mile

On netbanking portal, select redeem points. You'll find option there for Krisflyer and Vistara transfer. Basically it's on the older smartbuy portal.

I have no savings account with them. Hence no net banking portal is available to me.

You can go to smartbuy portal and select flights or hotels (refer image below)

The point redemption is 1:1 but you can only pay a max of 70% of total value with points.
