Many of us have more than 4 cards and it makes sense to keep an eye on joining fee. For example I have SBI CB CC and ACE. If I have met the threshold of JF on one card I would move my utility spends to the other card.
This is also correct..
1) CC portfolio is generally very personalised, especially so after we have a few cards
2) Nothing wrong in keeping an eye.. we don’t need to be obsessive about this

Appreciate the effort and very useful for newbies and light users. I think more context is required for catering to advanced users in this forum if you are aiming for that.

For many penny pinchers the rewards they get is less than joining fee defeating the purpose of rewards. Not everyone is wise in their decisions.

HSBC cashback is only for salaried employees.

Ultimate is not great value (2.90% instead of 3.33%) after considering the joining fee 5900/ joining benefit 6000 points , renewal fee 5900 /renewal benefit 5000 points and reward redemption charge 117.
And also providing a fair discounting (10% or more) for the value of the vouchers.

Kotak White signature card is lifetime free for Kotak privy league customers.
But it has very low return on very high spends.
The only advantage is free lounge access on a lifetime free card

I have edited the original post and included the best cards of these 3 banks

Kotak feast has limited benefits - 10% on dining on max 4k spends.

PVR INOX Kotak Credit Card is better - unlimited movie tickets worth Rs 300 each - 1 ticket per 10k spends.

300 INOX movie ticket on 10000 appears to be 3% return, but is actually only 1.5% return because we can always get movie tickets 1+1 free (for all theatres, not just INOX) on BookMyShow with so many other cards

1. Where the joining benefits are far more than the joining fees paid.
2. The returns on spends are the highest (at least 5% after deducting joining fees and other fees / charges)
If you're saying MOST value for money, here's my list from what I've used –
ICICI – Amazon Pay
HDFC – Infinia Metal
Axis - Atlas
SBI - Cashback
Federal – Amplifi
HSBC – Visa Platinum
Stanchart – Ultimate

We are approaching that time of the year when we need to pay our insurance premiums.
Which would be the most valuable cards for paying more than 1L SBI Life insurance?

I was planning on applying for SBI CB once again after getting rejected last year but now there doesn't seem to be an option to get 5% CB on buying APVs.

Replace Au LIT with Au IXIGO.

Replace Au LIT with Au IXIGO.
I have analysed AU ixigo and StanChart EaseMyTrip credit cards.
EaseMyTrip is much better with much higher limits for discount & 20% discount on hotels.
The only advantage of AU ixigo is zero forex markup

Why compare these 2?

AU LIT is devalued. Au Ixigo giving 2.5% as Ixigo money on utility as well.

thats a big one considering that options are limited. Scapia is rejecting applications and RBL is giving low limits.

My wife was pre-approved for a lifetime free Scapia and my RBL world Safari limit was 5 lakhs plus

You have made pretty good list.

You haven't mentioned these-
Union- Select Wellness or Select DC
DBS- Spark 20
CSB- Edge Rupay (Jupiter)
IndusInd- Legend LTF, EazyDiner (Variant based on needs- both are good)
AMEX- MRCC, Plat Travel
IDFC- Wealth, Select, Vistara, Power+

You may add-
RBL- Duet is decent, 1% and LTF
HDFC- Millenia
SBI- Vistara Prime, SimplyClick (gives 1% on utility too xD)
Axis- Airtel (the valueback is amazing)
AU- xCite Ace (for LTF- gives lounge and 1-3%)
Kotak- IOCL (50k waiver, currently best IOCL), Feast is no longer issued AFAIK
