BEWARE phishing scam for hdfc

it has an attachment.

to the best of my knowledge, hdfc doesn't have a '.net' address.

people might fall into this trap as many have recently applied for neu card.

be alert, beware.

So, I have received a mail from this domain today with the subject your HDFC Bank credit card application Form. I already have 2 cards from HDFC, including the Neu Infinity, that was applied in April this year and processed and delivered in May.
Don't understand why I am receiving the mail now. Haven't opened the PDF as of now. Should I?

Till now, I do not have my credit score generated but still I am being said that I have a good credit score and can apply for the loan up to 2.5 lac. I know hdfc has .com and not .net as an extension so I did not prefer to click on the mail link (Clicking on these links might be risky). It is better call your customer care or visit bank to verify if this is fraud, you will be safer.
