By changing captain team faith won't change,
Problem is with whole team for now.
They can't play aussies.

That's the issue. Since covid, Indian bowlers have been so consistent that they are hiding flaws in batting. When they have an off day, the team loses.

In bowling india have to good bowling.
Pitch is not easy for batting 250 runs would have been enough for aus.

Team was good till 1st test.
Sudden entry of Rohit caused chaos in the team.
Some reasons are
1. Changing of KLs position frequently, making him loose his confidence
2. 2nd & 3rd bowlers not being effective along side Bumrah.
3. Virat doing same mistake again and again by getting out to off stump ball
4. Pant with no responsibility batting. I'm ok with blind slogging but play for teams cause too.
5. Unnecessary 2 spinners
Spiced Up and Dramatic End of Day 1. Last Ball wicket by Bumrah!!

If Kaptaan itself is weighing down the ship and sinking it, in all due respect, he should sacrifice himself. This should have been a decision made by Ro himself. I clearly think he himself mi8 have made the decision.
Frankly anybody in the world, would have otherwise asked Ro to get down, FOR NOW, atleast. Even the Aussies threw Warner out, their commander in chief for a very long time.
Now the entire focus would be on the second heavyweight. The BAKRI 🐐.. If his presence made no spark to the team for 9 consecutive innings, he should be told that he need to get off, to remain BAKRI. Or else people mi8 claim him EX-BAKRI.
As much as I loved both Ro and Ko, I cannot bear to watch them weigh down and entire nations glory. Nope...
If they believe they still have the fi8, go back to the domestic circles, and prove themselves, like Shreyas Iyer is doing now. LOUD AND FIERCE.

There were news, a senior player is all eyes for KAPTAAN position. Think about it, JASSI would be thinking. Jaiswal, Nitish and Jassi are the only 3 who had done any sort of meaningful contribution to the team in all of this 9 innings. And jassi himself had pinned down the whole of the australian behemoths for almost 7-8 innings, ALL BY HIMSELF. When was the last time anyone else dominated the australian batting line up, in australia in this century?
Clearly he ain't getting any support with ball from anyone. The only one who could have done any magic with the ball, was sidelined and was forced to retire - ASH, the maverick.
So he would have thought, why on earth would be given it all for a team, which is sang for its KAPTAAN and BAKRI, while he is the one who is doing all the hardwork.
He clearly might have mentioned/made aware of that the fire within himself needs to be respected. That he deserves the CAPTAINCY, more than anyone else ri8 now.
Now the way batsmen fail cannot be put down on JASSI. But if he pulls out a miracle against australian batting line up, with field set up and bowling, which he is likely to (THANKS TO THE ALL ITCHY FROG KONSTAS), he should be celebrated as the new KAPTAN, PERIOD.
Wishing to see a bowler dominate the captaincy post, in a country, where toxic pedigree shuns bowlers from being kaptans.
Ipl isn't the problem. Ipl is the best thing that happened to Indian cricket.
Problem is making players bigger than the game. Its natural for players to want to play all formats, but here some players don't want any one else to get the opportunity to play. They are afraid that they might lose position if a new player plays couple of good games. Virat kept on with Pujara & rahane for long, not because he believed in them, but because he knew if they are forced out he'll be next. At that time the 4 best performing batsmen were 4 alrounders ( Pant+jaddu+ash+axar), yet only 2 (abroad) or 3(india) were playing at the same time. Players of jaddu/ash/axar caliber would've played twice as much if they were in any other team.
Look what they have been doing with Kl since beginning, what they were doing with no4 position during 2017-2019. Seemed like they were more interested in playing musical chair than cricket. In their eyes some are important, rest are replaceable.
Anderson/Stuart could play so many tests and kept their form so long, only because they chose one format. Its time same is forced on Indian players.
It's not reasonable for a country of 1.4bn people and so many talented players to play so few matches. India can field 2 teams in 2 different parts of the world on the same day and win both. may be Its not there yet in test, but definitely is in t20 and odi. But india plays less t20i than most smaller teams.
Then the politics/mh+GJ lobby. Funnily enough mh lobby doesn't lobby for local captain (Rituraj Gaikwad ) at least for no3 position.

Fitness can be issue with bumrah in test. He can't be the long term solution. Same with Kl, Shreyas. Jaddu is a great athlete isn't captain material. Gill, Jaiswal lack experience.
Pant seems like most viable candidate.
