Hmm since he doesn’t have a income that why I said I'm not sure but student was a option as far I remember.

But application will get rejected.
You only think how can a bank issue credit card who is not earning

They’ll start processing offline applications from today, but online applications may take a few more days. The system is still being tested, and the online process can go live anytime. If not today, then most likely by Monday.
