Recently applied for my Amex Plat charge through @BestBanker and it was an amazingly smooth experience. Literally took <48hrs for the approvals to come through and another 24 hours to get the card (Delhi/NCR). BestBanker super helpful in the whole process given i was new to Amex.

Highly recommend folks to work with him if interested in Amex cards.

I read somewhere in this forum @BestBanker is the god of amex, guys i am telling you he really is. He went above and beyond to help me get my first amex (plat reserve) approved. They rejected me twice in the past and i was kind of expecting the dreaded " Your application could not be processed" email . Unlike the previous airport lounge executives who processed my application this guy really knows how to get this done

@BestBanker I used to hold Amex cards until 2015 and used other cards for many years, like Infinia / Prestige with High Limits. Now, when I try to apply for Plat Travel, it's rejected with a Generic reply. Is it true that foreign nationals living in India can't get an application card? The only call I got for Post Video KYC was to ask for my nationality. Afterwards, I emailed the Head of customer service and got the same reply . getting calls from some numbers that doesnt connect when i call back they say ask for extension numbers . any suggestions ?

it's from the application team. they do such bullshit things. they call & disconnect immediately to record in their systems that they tried to reach out to the user, but user is unreachable. most entitled assholes i've seen in my life are from the application team of Amex.

happened during my plat. charge application, so many times.

Yes, you are correct. I got calls from 3 numbers, and every time I answered, it would not hear anything, as if the call was on mute, and then it would disconnect . When i called the customer care number they said the person working on your case hasnt been able to reach you. so looks like they are just trying to cut things short and moving ahead to next case

That was about 5 years back..things have changed a lot since then..
Now they are not issuing any ltf cards.

Only Plat Reserve is free as a companion card on Plat charge card.
Nothing else is free now except for the above case scenario

I have Companion Platinum Travel card free as well. I took Plat charge in March this year.
