It works! I used it.Yesterday, I had some failed payment at BMTC with my RuPay credit card - have they stopped accepting them now?
May be the Bank server was busy or not available at the time of transaction. What was the error displayed in the app? If it fails, you'll get a refund. It works! I used it.
But when? It worked for me until Friday, but not yesterday! It works! I used it.
yeah, I used it on Friday too!But when? It worked for me until Friday, but not yesterday!
I can understand. You're lucky that the conductor agreed for UPI in the first place. The account didn't get debited at all, so that's fine. But retrying in BMTC can be more painful than at a shop...
In the AC buses, UPI is pretty much universally accepted. I avoid the peak rush hours.I can understand. You're lucky that the conductor agreed for UPI in the first place.
Depends on the conductor tbhIn the AC buses, UPI is pretty much universally accepted. I avoid the peak rush hours.
Volvos they accept 100 percent, as they too don't want to be bothered by change. They insist cash only if they 2 or 3 failures in a row.Depends on the conductor tbh
The literally ORR routes are ALWAYS crowded. Unless you board at Silk Board or maybe a little beyond KR Puram (or super-smartly and luckily at KR Puram).Conductors shouting "qr code illa" especially in the ORR routes
And legit most of them who want to board the bus don't get on.
Always a struggle.
Thankfully the ticket charges are mutiples of 5.
Rather "Games of BMTC"I think the thread should be renamed to "Gems of BMTC" 😀😀
I remember older days before they adopted to mutiples of 5.The literally ORR routes are ALWAYS crowded. Unless you board at Silk Board or maybe a little beyond KR Puram (or super-smartly and luckily at KR Puram).
5-rupee coins are a BIG PAIN. 10 and multiples are somewhat easy, but so many ATMs these days give only 500s. 🙄
In those days I used to take non-AC buses. When everyone uses cash, conductors also go easy with returning change. Mixed mode makes things harder.I remember older days before they adopted to mutiples of 5.
Current situation is much better
BMTC is working with some fintech co to make bus payments even better, lets see what they come up with
