BOB ABNORMAL Enquiry!

okay in short
In AUGUST 2024 BOB did an enquiry in my CIBIL account,
I asked customer care about reason they said they've just checked (reviewed wrt the loan taken years ago) and hence generated cibil report
they neither took any permission from me nor did I apply for any loan or bob card in August 2024!

I've already complained them twice about it and got same response that the enquiry was just for checking!

Loan was taken in 2019 October!

Please, Guide me the next steps!

Update your thread by incorporating essential facts like not limited to application date, approved date of loan...

Wait 30days and complain to rbi, it will be removed

Update your thread by incorporating essential facts like not limited to application date, approved date of loan...
i've complained them 3rd time yesterday but I doubt the response will change so I want to know wut to do next! wait for 15 th dec then RBIO?

First complaint Date : 15/11/2024
Escalate your concern to BOB via e-mail that's enquiry made on .... date is unauthorised one as you haven't filed any application for any loan or CC, so, you're asking them to suppress the enquiry or file a dispute with CIBIL, with all necessary details.

If it's not getting corrected within 30 days, then you're entitled a compensation of ₹100/ day for delay.

And it's calendar days not banking/ business days.

Note: No need to wait for 30 days, directly mail to PNO and see if they reply within the timeframe with an unsatisfactory reply you are free to raise the complaint instantly to RBI's BO.

can't go to cibil it says generate report since your report is old and I will have to buy subscription

Jada behatar rehta Bank ko escalate karne pe, kyu ki CIBIL modify nahi kar sakta without the authorisation/ intimation of concerned bank, just wo forward kar dega... let's see kya hota hai

Likhe kya hai wo bhi bata hi dijye
