BOB Account and Opulence Debit Card Questions

Hi everyone,

I recently opened a BOB Power Pack NRE Account, and they offered me a free Opulence debit card with it. I have a few questions:

1. For the Quarterly Average Balance (QAB) requirement, does it start from the account opening day or from 3 months after the account opening date?
2. Regarding the Opulence debit card, the QAB of ₹5 lakhs is required. Does this QAB requirement come into effect from the date of activation of the card, or from the date of delivery of the card?
3. If the QAB requirement starts from the activation date, is there any expiry date by which the card must be activated?

What I heard they don't give you this dc directly
You have to maintain 3 month then ask
So if you getting out of blue
Take it

Also , if you get eterna cc it's good for lounge but now I guess u have to spend 50k on that cc for lounge

Btw what's your requirement for taking it
Will decide you should keep 5 lakh just for a dc

If the balance remains below the benchmark level continuously for 3 months, the Bank may transfer this account to a normal savings bank account and shall recover the charges. All the facilities of bob Masterstroke Savings Bank Account will be withdrawn.

Also , if you get eterna cc it's good for lounge but now I guess u have to spend 50k on that cc for lounge

I’m unable to get the Eterna credit card due to a low CIBIL score.

Btw what's your requirement for taking it
Will decide you should keep 5 lakh just for a dc

It's QAB so from next qtr u can maintain
Just like mab start from next month after account opening

That will be good; I can easily manage the QAB.
