BoB card bill overdue

Hello,

I missed my BoB CC bill payment by few days. Due date was on 6th Mar but I paid the bill on 17th Mar. Though it is a late payment, it didn’t exceed 30 days overdue period, so technically it shouldn’t be shown in CIBIL report. Has anyone had same experience ? Suggest me whether it will show in report causing a drop in credit score or just be fixed by a late payment fee of 100rs, which is charged though and I am okay with 100 rupees fee. That is not a big thing compared to CIBIL score hit.

Payment Due Date: At any cost, they have to receive our payment by this date in their records.

Grace period (as per RBI rule): Due Date + 3 days, to compensate last moment payment credits.

Anything beyond, will result in...
Sure, I have been refreshing my CIBIL daily. Curious myself.

i had defaulted by 3 months my hdfc card sone years ago due to an accident and stupidity on my part. I did pay off fully and the card got closed. The person handling it told me, when I paid the card fully and it gets closed without any dues the score will go up. The report did show all three months with days past due. And it stayed on report for some years, Experian till date shows that even tho this was in 2016. Experian report in some apps show 3/total payments missed.
Score went down but came up.
You just missed one payment by less than a month , banks will see that as a one time occurrence if you never have missed payment and may forgive it. Banks have more detailed reports to view than what we view.
If the score drops it will come back in few months. Just remember to pay the minimum when statement generated and rest before due date. Or if you can it’s always best to pay full when statement generated. Saves you the trouble.
