I haven't gotten a Bob account yet, but thinking for Bob super saving, and I read it has the sweep-out facility. Has anyone managed to close it? Through physical or online?

It's threshold is only 50K :/

I have around 35K in my account they have automatically started a Sweep-out facility of 20K now and then I receive SMS.
Any way to stop it?
I will send an email to the BM and see if it gets turned off or not.

Open super savings account and get all dcs fyf.
After 1 month will downgrade to Advantage account with 500mab.

If there's no super savings in rural branch, how will you transfer account to rural?

Anyhow @Abhishek012 is wrong, rural branch is capable of super premium accs too, there's no discrimination.

I meant, open super saving where it is possible(urban). It doesn't matter which branch, then downgrade in the same branch and move out to your destination.

Then mab wont change, transferring accs wont change mab at all. Just downgrade works for mab change

You have to wait for 6 months before downgrade as BOB charges DC AF after 3-4 months of getting the DC.

No, firstly i lost trust and interest in BOB. 500 is enough i feel.

Anyhow I'm giving scenerios, so that needy people can follow.
If u r observing my comments in this thread past 5 days, u will get it

I remember. A few years back, one of my cousins opened hdfc normal account with 10k then moved to 2.5K branch.

Branch people might specifically downgraded mab. I never heard of changing mab while transferring accounts.
I myself tried in many banks

Then 1st option is better i think. Need only EMT card. Loosing 700 is better than visiting branches for downgrades. Who knows they might tell you to visit next day saying server problem
